Google Calendar is the way that many of us help keep our appointments straight, but it looks like the service is having some issues this morning.
Google Calendar is currently unaccessible on the web. Pointing your desktop or mobile browser to calendar.google.com will present you with an Error 404, leaving you unable to access your list of upcoming events. The Android and iOS apps for Google Calendar are working locally, but any events that are added aren't syncing across devices.
Over on the G Suite Status Dashboard, Google has acknowledged that there's something going on with Calendar. "We're investigating reports of an issue with Google Calendar. We will provide more information shortly. The affected users are unable to access Google Calendar," the company says.
This is a pretty serious outage for Google, as many folks rely on Calendar to help them keep their days straight. It's good that you can still access your Calendar using the apps on Android and iOS, but the fact that new events aren't syncing across devices is sure to be frustrating. Here's to hoping that Google Calendar recovers from this outage soon.
UPDATE: As of 9:53 am PT/12:53 pm ET, Google Calendar appears to be coming back online. Google says that it expects to resolve the problem affecting most Calendar users by 10:40 am.
