The Honor 20 Pro has been a much awaited device ever since it was announced a month ago. Unfortunately, circumstances called for its launch to be put on hold. But now it looks like Huawei can finally go on with the launch.
Originally, Huawei planned to release its latest flagship in early July. But because they are unable to obtain the needed Google certifications, the release date has been pushed back to an indefinite date. After almost four weeks of not giving up, it looks like the Honor 20 Pro has obtained Google’s certification.
As reported by HDBlog.it, the Honor 20 Pro is slated to arrive in Italy after it passed Google’s certification. As of this writing, a new release date hasn’t been officially announced. But if there are no further delays, a launch in mid-July could be possible. This new timeline seems to be a more accurate one since the brand has sent out emails explaining an international launch for the Honor 20 Pro could be real soon.
Bloomberg reported yesterday that Huawei is keeping a close eye on the demand for the Honor 20 series. The base model is set to launch globally on June 21st, Friday. But if things take a different turn, it’s likely that Huawei will be completely pulling the plug on the device.
