The SanDisk 1TB microSD card is now available for purchase. You can buy it directly from SanDisk for $449.99. It's also listed in Amazon's store, but it's listed as "Currently unavailable" with no mention about when stock might become available.
SanDisk's 1TB microSD card offers read speeds up to 90MB/s and support for 4K Ultra HD video capture and playback. It's also temperature-proof, waterproof, shock-proof, and X-ray proof.
It's pretty crazy that you can add a full terabyte of storage to your phone, tablet, or gaming device with a tiny card — so long as your device supports it — but it was only a matter of time before a 1TB microSD card came to market. And while this SanDisk card isn't cheap, its price should fall in the future if you can be patient.
