It's widely expected that Google will announce the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL at its I/O 2019 keynote today, but those may not be the only hardware products that get revealed today.
A new Google device that may be the Nest Hub Max appears to have passed through the FCC. The FCC listing is for an "interactive video streaming device" with support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Thread, which is a low-power mesh networking technology for Internet of Things (IoT) products.
What's more, the device's model number is H2A, which is notable because the original Google Home Hub's (shown above) model number is H1A.
The Google Store leaked the existence of the Nest Hub Max earlier this year. The device features a 10-inch HD screen, which is larger than the Google Home Hub's 7-inch display. Also included with the Nest Hub Max are stereo speakers, support for motion and sound alerts, a built-in Nest Cam, and support for making Duo video calls.
