Pixel 3a XL appears on the shelves of a Best Buy before it's announced

We've had a feeling that Google is planning to launch the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL on May 7th, and today one major retailer has backed up our expectation.

Some Google Pixel 3a XL phones were placed out in the open at a Best Buy in Springfield, Ohio. The images shared with Android Police appear to show two purple Pixel 3a XL phones and one black Pixel 3a XL. The box confirms that the Pixel 3a XL will have a 6-inch display, 64GB of built-in storage, and the model number G020C.

There's no price tag in the photos, but a leak earlier this week suggested that the Pixel 3a XL will start at $479 while the Pixel 3a will start at $399.

While we're not getting much new information about the Pixel 3a XL from this latest leak, the fact that Best Buy has units suggests that a launch is indeed close. So for those who are interested in buying a Pixel 3a, you probably won't have to wait long after Google's May 7th announcement to buy your new device.
