OnePlus likes to keep excitement levels high for its new smartphones ahead of their official announcements, and the OnePlus 7 Pro is no different.
OnePlus today teased that the OnePlus 7 Pro received an A+ Top Tier Display Rating from DisplayMate, a group that reviews displays for smartphones, TVs, monitors, and more. The screen on the OnePlus 7 Pro earned DisplayMate's "Highest A+ Display Rating", the group says.
While the full report won't come out until the OnePlus 7 Pro is introduced on May 14th, OnePlus did drop a few more tidbits about the screen. It says that the OP7 Pro scored "exceptionally well" across every test, including color accuracy, brightness, contrast accuracy, and pixel density. OnePlus will laso let you adjust the color gamut and color temperature on the OnePlus 7 Pro to let you find the setup that's perfect for you.

Also announced today is the news that the OnePlus 7 Pro earned the "Safety for Eyes" certification from the VDE Testing and Certification Institute. This means that the device is able to filter out "harmful blue lights". OnePlus touts that the OP7 Pro has upgrade eye protection that'll let you adjust temperature and brightness to improve eye comfort.
OnePlus is proud of the display on the OnePlus 7 Pro, as the company recently teased that it spent three times as much on that phone's screen as it spent on previous devices. OnePlus has also said that the display on the OP7 Pro will "redefine fast and smooth." Exact details of the screen haven't been confirmed, but rumors say it could be a 6.64-inch display with curved edges, a 90Hz refresh rate, and no notch.
