A new Samsung Galaxy S10 update is now rolling out with a major camera improvement.
Samsung's new update brings a dedicated night mode to the Galaxy S10's camera. The GS10 previously had a feature called Bright Night that would help you capture better low-light shots, but the issue was that the feature could only be activated when the phone decided that it was dark enough. With this new night mode, you can decide when to enable it.
This dedicated night mode is now rolling out in an update that also includes the April 2019 Android security patches. The update is currently rolling out to Galaxy S10 owners in Switzerland, but we should see it expand to more countries soon.
It's great to see Samsung spinning the Galaxy S10 camera's night mode into a dedicated feature. Now consumers can decide when they want to enable night mode rather than relying on an algorithm to choose, giving them more control over their device's camera.
