Earlier this year, Samsung held a mega event where it revealed four Galaxy S10 models and the Galaxy Fold. Three of those S10 devices have since launched, and now we've got a bit more release info on the other two phones.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold will launch in the U.S. on April 26th at select AT&T, T-Mobile, Best Buy, and Samsung Experience Stores. T-Mo confirmed this news, adding that it'll have the Galaxy Fold available online starting at 9:00 pm ET on April 25th. If you want to be one of the first to buy the Galaxy Fold in the U.S., you can register on Samsung.com to receive information and get an invitation to "be the first in line to reserve" the foldable phone.
Samsung previously said that the Galaxy Fold will start at $1,980.
Next month we'll see the Galaxy S10 5G make its way to the shelves of U.S. stores. Samsung has confirmed that the S10 5G will be available starting in May, with pre-orders starting soon. Rumors have suggested that Verizon could launch the Galaxy S10 5G on May 16th.
Neither the Galaxy Fold nor the Galaxy S10 5G will be cheap, but they're also part of the first wave of their respective categories: the Galaxy Fold is one of the first foldable display phones, while the Galaxy S10 5G is one of the first 5G phones to hit the market. Being an early usually isn't cheap, but some folks are willing to pay a premium to be one of the first to have a particular piece of kit.
Will you be buying the Galaxy Fold or Galaxy S10 5G?
