After rolling out iOS 12.2 to the public earlier this week, Apple is now ready to begin beta testing its next big iOS release.
iOS 12.3 beta 1 is now rolling out to registered developers. It can be downloaded by going into Settings > General > Software Update on your iPhone or iPad, or by going to Apple's Developer Center on the web. A public beta release for the Apple Beta Software Program isn't yet available, but it could arrive in the next day or two.
Since this is the first beta release of iOS 12.3, it's unclear what changes or improvements might be included. Now that it's rolling out, though, folks will begin to dig into iOS 12.3 beta 1 and find everything new that Apple has packed in.
There's no word on when Apple might release iOS 12.3 to the public. It's likely that Apple will release several beta versions before launching it to everyone, though, so it could be a couple of months before iOS 12.3 is ready for public consumption.
