Last week, there were a few leaks that claimed Apple will be launching the seventh generation of its iPad device along with an iPad mini 5. These two devices are said to be launched within the first half of the year. Today, new information has emerged to back up the leaked report.
As reported by MySmartPrice, Apple will be releasing six iPad models soon. These devices, carrying models number A2123, A2124, A2153, A2133, and A2152, were spotted on paperwork Apple filed with EEC, a Russian certification agency. This leak may seem like an all too familiar strategy for the company as they have done the same thing with their past product launches.
Right now, there’s no clarification on what these six iPad models will be. But there is reason to believe one of those devices will be an iPad mini 5 since it’s been years since Apple released one. Some sources are even claiming that Apple is developing a new mini tablet. Last year, famous Apple insider, Ming-Chi Kuo, talked about an iPad mini 5 and predicted that it will be available in early 2019. There are also some rumors pointing to an affordable iPad device carrying a 10-inch display.
But right now, there is really no way to know for sure. We will have to stay tuned for further developments once they become available.
