Now that iOS 12.1.3 is available to the public, it's time for Apple to start beta testing its next iOS update.
iOS 12.2 beta 1 is now available to registered developers. If you've registered with Apple as a developer, you can grab this update by going into Settings > General > Software Update on your device, so long as it's got the correct beta profile on it. You can also download the beta from Apple's Developer Center on the web.
Because this is the first beta release of iOS 12.2, it's unclear what new features Apple might be packing into it. Since it's a 12.x update, we may actually see some new features rather than a bug-fixing update like iOS 12.1.3 was. As more devs install the update and we get further along in the beta testing, though, more details on the update should come out.
Apple today also released the watchOS 5.2 beta 1 update for developers.
