After launching the Ticwatch Pro earlier this year, Mobvoi is back today with another new Wear OS smartwatch.
The Mobvoi Ticwatch C2 is now available for pre-order. Normally priced at $199.99, customers who pre-order before November 27 will get 10 percent off, knocking the price of this Wear OS smartwatch down to $179.99.
Mobvoi's new Ticwatch C2 features a simple design reminiscent of classic analog watches. It's got a round 1.3-inch 360x360 AMOLED screen, Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, GPS, NFC, heart-rate sensor, and a 400mAh battery that Mobvoi says is good for up to two days of battery life. There's IP68 water and dust resistance, too, along with Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi.
The case of the Ticwatch C2 is made of stainless steel and is available in Rose Gold, Black, and Platinum finishes. The Rose Gold is compatible with 18mm bands, while the Black and Platinum models support 20mm bands.
The Mobvoi Ticwatch C2 looks like a nice Wear OS device. Its got a classic design for folks who are looking for a bit of style without being too ostentatious, and by offering a model with an 18mm band, it appears that Mobvoi targeting woman and folks with smaller wrists. The inclusion of a Snapdragon 2100 processor rather than a newer Snapdragon 3100 is a bit of a bummer, but Mobvoi's aggressive pricing for the Ticwatch C2 helps mitigate that concern.
