Today's the launch day of the Cloud Silver version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, and to celebrate, Samsung has announced a nice deal for anyone interested in its flagship hardware.
For a limited time, you can receive double the trade-in value of your device when you buy a Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S9, or Galaxy S9+ from a participating carrier or retailer. The maximum trade-in value that you can get for your device is $600. The full list of eligible trade-in devices and their values can be seen below.
Samsung notes that your trade-in device must power on, have a functioning display with no black spots or dead pixels, and have no breaks, cracks, or other defects beyond normal wear and tear. You must also fully own your device, meaning leased phones aren't eligible, and you must disable Google Factory Reset Protection and any other anti-theft locking software.
The amount that you get for your trade-in will vary depending on the age of the device, but there are some nice deals to be had with this double trade-in value offer. Samsung says that the promotion will run from October 5th through November 3rd, so you've got nearly a month to decide if you're going to take advantage of it and choose which device you're going to upgrade to.
