Last week we got a peek at Google's rumored Pixel Stand wireless charger for its Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. That was an animation from an APK, though, and it didn't give us much detail. Now a new leak is here to reveal more of the device.
An image that claims to show the Pixel Stand in an official render has made its way online. The image shows the Pixel Stand from the bottom, giving us a look at what's likely some sort of rubberized anti-slip base with a Google logo. We can see a cable plugged into the base of the stand, a panel to prop the phone up, and the model number of the product: G019C.
It's rumored that when a Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL is charging on the Pixel Stand, the phone will show a custom UI with quick actions for music, phone, and more, as well as easy access to Google Assistant and notifications that are easier to read and interact with.
With a design that'll prop a phone up while it's charging, the Pixel Stand seems like it could be a nice addition to a desk. The device would allow you to still easily see and interact with your phone while it's being charged up. We don't yet know how much Google might charge for the Pixel Stand, but that will likely be revealed at the Pixel 3 event on October 9th.
