Following months of leaks that've revealed the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, today we're getting an early look at a new accessory that Google is cooking up for its flagship phones.
An animation inside the code of the new Google app may give us our first look at the Pixel Stand. This accessory is expected to be a charging stand that'll juice up your Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL while keeping it standing vertically. The animation, shared by 9to5Google, suggests that the phone will have a sort of photo slideshow function while its charging in the Pixel Stand.
There's not much else known about the Pixel Stand right now, so it's unclear how much the device might cost. It could be a nice accessory for your desk, though, letting you recharge your Pixel while keeping it upright so that you can easily see incoming notifications or view photos. We could see the Pixel Stand debut alongside the new Pixel phones on October 9th, so keep an eye out for it.
