UPDATE: Turns out that the Diesel Full Guard 2.5 isn't quite as large as originally thought. The screen on Diesel's watch is 1.39 inches.
ORIGINAL: There's been a lot of smartwatch news today, and now we've got a bit more for you thanks to Diesel.
The Diesel Full Guard 2.5 is a new Wear OS smartwatch that, as its name suggests, has a 2.5-inch display. That's a pretty big screen when compared to other smartwatches on the market. For example, the new Casio WSD-F30 has a 1.2-inch screen and the Samsung Galaxy Watch has a 1.3-inch display.
The case of the Diesel Full Guard 2.5 measures 47 x 56mm. Inside that case is NFC support for Google Pay, 4GB of storage, GPS, and heart rate tracking. Google Assistant is included as well.
Diesel says that its new watch will be available in three color combos when it launches in October: a gunmetal gray case with a brown strap, a black case with a black strap, and a black case with a gunmetal gray strap. No pricing info has been revealed.
With a 2.5-inch screen, the Diesel Full Guard 2.5 is one of the biggest smartwatches we've seen to date. It might be too large for some, but there are people that really like large watches, and so the Diesel Full Guard 2.5 could be a great smartwatch option for them.
