Sprint has said that it plans to begin deploying its 5G network in select U.S. cities in the first half of 2019, and now the carrier is talking about the first device that'll access that network.

With Sprint's 5G network arriving in the first half of 2019, it's good to hear that it'll have a 5G smartphone launching around that same time. A 5G network doesn't do Sprint customers much good if they can't use it, and there will likely be some early adopters that are eager to get onto Sprint's 5G network to see what kind of speeds it can offer.
