Verizon will give six months of free Apple Music to customers on an unlimited plan

Verizon today announced a new promotion aimed at unlimited customers.

Starting August 16th, customers on a Verizon Unlimited plan can get six months of Apple Music for free. This offer applies to both new and existing customers on a Go Unlimited, Beyond Unlimited, or Above Unlimited plan. After the six months, you'll be charged the regular $9.99 per month rate for Apple Music.

It's also worth noting that Apple Music is available on both iOS and Android devices, so this offer isn't just for Verizon customers with an iPhone.

This is a pretty nice deal for Verizon customers on an unlimited rate plan. Apple Music offers more than 45 million songs for on-demand, ad-free streaming over cellular and Wi-Fi. Normally you'd have to pay nearly $60 for six months of Apple Music, so if you're a Verizon Unlimited customer, be sure to check out this offer when it launches next week.
