New Google Pixelbook with slimmer bezels reportedly on the way

It's expected that Google will host an event this fall, and in addition to new Pixel smartphones, rumors have said that new Pixel Buds and a Pixel smartwatch could be announced there. Now we're hearing that even more hardware may be revealed at the event.

A new Google Pixelbook will be announced at Google's fall hardware event, according to prominent leaker Evan Blass. Little is known about the device, but it's said that the Chrome OS laptop will have smaller bezels than the current model. The device will reportedly ship before the end of 2018.

Google's Pixelbook is a Chrome OS device that offers high-end specs and a premium build for a similarly premium price. While it doesn't appeal to everyone, it's a great device for those willing to pay for it. One thing that you could complain about the Pixelbook are its bezels, which are somewhat large, though it's also kind of understanable that Google included those bezels because the Pixelbook can be folded open and used tablet-style. Still, a second-gen Pixelbook with slimmer bezels could be appealing.
