We've seen a few leaked Motorola devices so far in 2018, but now official announcements from Moto. It looks like that'll change in April.
Motorola has teased that it'll announce its first new products of 2018 in April. The company today revealed that its president, Aymar de Lencquesaing, will leave the company and be replaced by Sergio Buniac. At the end of this announcement, Moto dropped the following teaser:
"We’re excited for what 2018 (and beyond!) is going to bring us and look forward to sharing our first products of the year with you next month!"
We've seen a few different Motorola devices leak so far in 2018, ranging from the higher-end Moto Z3 to the mid-range Moto X5 down to the more entry-level Moto G6 Play and Moto E5 Plus. It's unclear exactly what Motorola plans to show off next month, but the company is now a little more than a year out from its introduction of the Moto G5, so perhaps a new Moto G model will be one of the new pieces of hardware that debuts next month.
