With one week to go before Huawei's P20 event, many details of the unannounced flagship smartphone and its two variants have leaked. Today one more feature of the Huawei P20 Pro has leaked, and it's one of the most interesting tidbits we've gotten yet.
The Huawei P20 Pro will include a 40MP rear camera, reports Winfuture.de. The P20 Pro is rumored to have a triple rear camera setup, and also said to be on the back of the device is an 8MP camera with a telephoto lens, and a 20MP monochrome sensor.
Today's report also claims that the P20 Pro will offer a 5x "hybrid zoom" feature that'll combine optical and digital zooms. There's said to be f/1.6 and f/2.4 apertures, too, and laser autofocus.
We'll have to wait until next week before we know if the Huawei P20 Pro will actually have a 40MP camera, but if so, that'd make it one of the highest megapixel counts we've ever seen on a phone, trailing just behind devices like the Nokia Lumia 1020 and its 41MP sensor. That'll definitely be impressive, but we'll also have to put the P20 Pro to the test and see how its cameras actually perform before we get too excited about it.
