Earlier today, Google announced that Android Wear is being rebranded to Wear OS, a name that it says "better reflects our technology, vision, and most important of all — the people who wear our watches". Now Google has revealed which of smartwatches will be updated with the new branding.
A Google support page says that in the coming weeks, select watches will begin showing the "Wear OS by Google" name rather than the "Android Wear" one. The update will also change the name of Google's phone app for its smartwatches.
