As we near the HTC U11's first birthday, many are wondering what HTC might have in store for its next Android flagship. The details of that device may have just been leaked.
Spec details of the HTC Imagine, which is rumored to be the codename for the HTC U12, have been shared by LlabTooFeR, who's known for HTC leaks. According to them, the HTC Imagine will boast features like a Snapdragon 845, 5.99-inch Quad HD+ display, up to 6GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, and a 3,420mAh battery.

It's also said that HTC will include a dual rear camera setup on the Imagine with one 12MP sensor and one 16MP sensor. The device is also expected to come equipped with Android 8.0 and HTC's Sense 10 user interface, HTC Face Unlock, and Edge Sense 2.0, an updated version of the feature that lets you perform actions by squeezing the sides of your phone.
As for when we might see this device launch, LlabTooFeR says that a release will happen "somewhere in April".
While still a rumor, many of these leaked HTC U12 specs would make sense for an Android flagship in 2018. What will be interesting is seeing what HTC does for the device's design; it's said that the U12 was being shown at a recent event in Taiwan, but it was tough to make much of the phone's design since its front was covered in tape and we didn't get to see its rear. I'm also looking forward to seeing how HTC improves its Edge Sense feature for version 2.0.
