Today's a big day for Samsung phones on T-Mobile, because the Un-carrier is pushing software updates to four flagship Galaxy smartphones.
T-Mobile is now updating its Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S8 Active, Galaxy S7, and Galaxy S7 edge. These updates are all starting to roll out today, says T-Mo, so if you've got one of the four aforementioned phones, you should keep an eye out for an update in the coming days.
The Galaxy Note 8's update will include the December 2017 Android security patches as well as updates to the Note 8's video conferencing and DIGITS capabilities. The update is version N950USQU2BQLA and is 315.85MB.
T-Mo's Galaxy S8 Active will also get the December 2017 security patches as well as support for License Assisted Access (LAA) so that it can use LTE Advanced network technology. The S8 Active's update is version G892USQU1AQK5 and is 230.09MB.
Then there are the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, which are both receiving the December 2017 security patches. The S7's update is version G930TUVS4BQL2 and is 49.15MB while the S7 edge's update is version G935TUVS4BQL2 and is 49.3MB.
