Apple's Jony Ive is famous for creating many of the Cupertino firm's attractive hardware, and now he's back in control of Apple's design teams.
Jony Ive is once again managing Apple's design team after two years of helping to build the new Apple Park headquarters. "With the completion of Apple Park, Apple’s design leaders and teams are again reporting directly to Jony Ive, who remains focused purely on design," Apple spokeswoman Amy Bessette told Bloomberg.
Now that Apple Park is complete, it makes sense that Ive would return to managing Apple's product design teams. Ive designed devices like the iPod and iPad, and there are likely a lot of Apple fans out there that are happy to hear that Ive will once again focus on overseeing Apple's design.
