T-Mobile confirmed earlier this week that it’ll offer a trade-in deal for the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X, but it turns out that that’s not the only offer that T-Mo will have for Apple’s new phones.
T-Mobile today announced its own iPhone upgrade program. With it, T-Mobile customers can buy the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, or iPhone X on EIP and after they pay off 50 percent of their device, they can trade it in and T-Mo will wipe their remaining payments. They can then upgrade to next year’s iPhone free of charge.
Customers who buy the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, or iPhone X on EIP will automatically get T-Mobile’s iPhone upgrade program. Keep in mind, though, that this is a one-time benefit.
Apple has offered its own iPhone Upgrade Program for years now, but this T-Mobile offer could be a good option for folks that prefer to buy their device through their carrier to consolidate their bill payments.
As a reminder, T-Mobile is also offering up to $300 off (via 24 monthly bill credits) the purchase of an iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, or iPhone X when you trade in an iPhone 6 or newer and buy a new iPhone on EIP.
T-Mobile also confirmed today that it’ll begin taking pre-orders for the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and Apple Watch Series 3 at 12:01 am PT on September 15th.
As a reminder, here’s what T-Mobile will charge for the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, and Apple Watch Series 3 on EIP:

And finally, T-Mobile says that Apple Watch Series 3 buyers will get 3 months of free service with Digits. After that period, having the Apple Watch Series 3 on your plan with unlimited talk, text, and data will cost $10 per month with autopay.
