Sprint confirmed earlier this year that it’ll be the exclusive U.S. carrier of the Essential Phone, and soon you’ll be able to take advantage of that to check out the Essential Phone in-person.
Sprint says that it’ll have the Essential Phone in its stores starting this Thursday, September 14th. This means that you’ll be able to check out the device before you buy, and if you do purchase one, you can get a unit that same day rather than waiting for shipping.
Essential said that it’s phone started shipping out to buyers a couple of weeks ago, and Sprint began taking online orders for the device a bit before that. Still, it’s big news for the Essential Phone that it’ll be available in Sprint stores this week, because that gives customers a chance to see the phone in person and get it right after, which could help give it some extra sales.
For a limited time, Sprint is offering the Essential Phone on lease for 50 percent off. That means that it’ll cost $0 down and $14.58 per month for 18 months. The Essential 360-degree Camera is available for $199.99 or $16.67 per month for 12 months.
