ORIGINAL: The rumor mill has suggested that T-Mobile is prepping a new own-brand Android smartphone, and now a leak shows that it could launch next week.
T-Mobile is planning to launch the Revvl on August 10th, according to an image shared with TmoNews. Pricing will reportedly be set at $0 down and $7 per month on JUMP! on Demand.
Today’s leak also spills many of the Revvl’s spec details. The T-Mobile Revvl is rumored to run Android Nougat on a 5.5-inch display with a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Also said to be included is a quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 3000mAh battery, and a fingerprint reader that’s mounted below the rear camera.
The T-Mobile Revvl may not blow your hair back with crazy performance, but based on these leaked details, it could be a solid device for folks in the market for an affordable smartphone. If it is indeed launching August 10th, we don’t have long to wait before we officially meet the Revvl, so stay tuned.
