Alongside the new Moto Z2 Force Edition, Motorola today took the wraps off of a brand new Moto Mod.
The Moto 360 Camera is now official. This add-on can capture 360-degree 4K video with what Motorola calls “3D Audio”. You can edit your videos on your phone after you’re done capturing them, and you’ve also got the option of live streaming 360-degree video from your device. Support for sharing with friends and social media is included, too.
In addition to recording video, the Moto 360 Camera can capture 150-degree wide angle photos. These, too, can be edited and shared on your device.
Motorola’s Moto 360 Mod is compatible with any Moto Z series device. It’ll launch on August 10th at a price of $299.99.
It’s good to see Motorola continue to support and grow its Moto Mod collection. The Moto 360 Camera is a nice addition to the family, giving Moto Z device owners another brand new feature that they can add to their devices. Plus, it’s great that this new Moto 360 Camera is compatible with all Moto Z series phones, which means that even folks that bought a handset from 2016 can use this new Moto Mod.
