Edge Sense is one of the highlight features of the HTC U11, letting you perform actions by squeezing the sides of the phone. And today, HTC revealed that it’s got more Edge Sense features in the work.
HTC has posted a video to YouTube that demonstrates some of the new Edge Sense features coming to the U11. The video shows that you’ll be able to squeeze to zoom in on Google Maps or to zoom in and out on a photo as well as to dismiss an alarm that’s going off.
HTC’s video also shows that you’ll soon be able to squeeze the sides of the U11 to answer an incoming call, and when that call is done, you can squeeze to end it. And when you’re watching a video and want to pause the action, you’ll be able to squeeze the U11 to pause the clip.
HTC doesn’t say exactly when these features will be available to U11 owners. If you’ve got an HTC U11, though, at least you know that HTC’s got more ways for you to take advantage of the U11’s highlight feature coming soon.
Have you tried the HTC U11? If so, what do you think of Edge Sense?
