Following launches at AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon, the Kyocera DuraForce Pro is now finishing its cycle by arriving at T-Mobile.
The Kyocera DuraForce Pro is launching today at T-Mobile. Its price is set at $17 down and $17 per month for 24 months, or $425 total.
Kyocera has outfitted the DuraForce Pro with a rugged body that’s IP68 rated for dust and water resistance and also meets Military Standard 810G. That means that it can withstand extreme conditions that include shock, vibration, temperature extremes, low pressure, solar radiation, salt fog, temperature shock, and freezing rain.
Speaking of extreme, the Kyocera DuraForce Pro also comes equipped with a Super Wide View HD Action camera in addition to its 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras. And new on the T-Mobile version of the DuraForce Pro is a feature called Action Overlay mode. When you’re recording a video, you can use this feature to include a heads-up display with info like speed, distance traveled, g-force, altitude, elapsed time, and a date stamp.
Other specs of the Kyocera DuraForce Pro include a 5-inch 1920x1080 display, octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a microSD slot for adding even more storage. There’s a 3240mAh battery powering this phone, and wireless charging is included if you ever get tired of physically plugging the DuraForce Pro in to charge.
