It’s time for Guess to join the parade of companies with new Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches.
Guess today revealed its Guess Connect smartwatches, which feature round faces and run Android Wear 2.0. The collection includes a watch aimed at women and another at men, with the former sporting a 41mm case, clear crystals around the case, and silver, gold, and rose gold versions. The men’s version comes with a 44mm case and does not have crystals.
The Guess Connect watches feature Snapdragon Wear 2100 processors, and because they run Android Wear 2.0, they include features like handwriting and a keyboard for text replies. The watches are compatible with Android and iOS smartphones.
Guess isn’t really spilling any other spec details about its Connect smartwatches, nor are they talking price or a concrete launch date. The new Guess Connect smartwatches are expected to launch later in 2017.
It’s tough to say much about Guess’ new smartwatches since we know so little about their features, but they do look like fashion-focused devices. It’s also good to see Guess offering a smaller size for ladies, which is something we don’t often see from Android Wear device makers.
