After launching new postpaid unlimited data plans earlier this month, AT&T is now offering a new unlimited plan to prepaid customers, too.
AT&T today launched its new unlimited data plan for GoPhone. This $65 per month plan includes unlimited talk, text, and data, but it’s worth noting that data speeds will be capped at 3Mbps, similar to AT&T’s postpaid Unlimited Choice plan. Also like that plan, video streams will cap out at 480p and your deprioritization threshold will be 22GB.
The new GoPhone unlimited plan also includes unlimited talk, text, and data use in Mexico and Canada.
Also launching today is a GoPhone plan with unlimited talk and text as well as 6GB of high-speed data. Once you’ve used that allotment, you’ll have 128Kbps data speeds for the remainder of that cycle. This plan costs $45 per month.
Both of AT&T’s new GoPhone plans are eligible for a $5 AutoPay discount. So if you enroll in AutoPay, their prices will drop to $60 and $40 per month.
Finally, AT&T GoPhone is offering $20 off select smartphones with a new line of service through April 20. Those include the Samsung Galaxy Express 3, Samsung Galaxy Express Prime, LG Phoenix 2, and the Apple iPhone 5s.
