Along with its new flagship P10, Huawei today introduced a new Android smartwatch.
The Huawei Watch 2 runs Android Wear 2.0 on a round 1.2-inch display. There are actually two models of Huawei’s new wearable, the sportier Watch 2 and the Watch 2 Classic, with the former packing in 4G LTE connectivity. Both also offer GPS, a heart rate sensor, and NFC.
Both Huawei Watch 2 models also include Snapdragon Wear 2100 processors, 4GB of storage, 768MB of RAM, 420mAh batteries, and IP68 certifications for water and dust resistance.
The Huawei Watch 2 and Huawei Watch 2 Classic will launch in March in Spain, France, Portugal, Italy, Germany, and China at a starting price of €329 ($347 USD). Launches in the US, UK, Russia, and Australia will begin in April.
Huawei today also announced a special Porsche Design version of the Huawei Watch 2. This model includes special Porsche Design branding, but it’s unclear when it’ll launch or how much it’ll cost.
