MWC 2017 is sure to bring with it several new smartphones for us to check out, but the Samsung Galaxy S8 won’t be one of them.
Samsung has said that the Galaxy S8 won’t be announced at MWC in February. DJ Koh, Samsung’s head of mobile, told Reuters that the GS8 will not follow in the footsteps of its predecessors by appearing at MWC.
Koh didn’t reveal when the Galaxy S8 will make its debut, so it’s unclear when we’ll get to meet Samsung’s next big thing.
While Samsung isn’t being very talkative about the Galaxy S8, the rumor mill has been. Previous reports have suggested that the GS8 will have an “all-screen design” that’ll be available in two screen sizes: 5.1 inches and 5.7 inches. Also said to be included is a Snapdragon 835 processor, an all-new virtual assistant, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Rumors have suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S8 could make its official debut in April.
