Whenever a new year rolls around, many folks set a resolution to get into better shape. Today Google announced a new Calendar feature to help those people achieve their goal.
Starting today, Google Fit and Apple Health can connect to Google Calendar. This feature will take data from your fitness apps and automatically mark your Google Calendar fitness goals as being completed, rather than forcing you to manually go in to Google Calendar and mark them as done when you finish.
Google Calendar also now offers a visual performance tracker that’ll make it easier to see how close you are to completing your fitness goals.
When you’re exercising and trying to meet a goal, it can be good to see all the progress that you’ve made. But sometimes when you’re done working out, you can forget to mark your progress in an app. That’s where this Google Calendar integration comes in handy, because it’ll automatically mark your goals as completed when you integrate with your Google Fit or Apple Health data, ensuring that all of your goals are checked off.
