One day after it was announced that Pokémon Go is partnering with Sprint, another partnership has been struck.
Pokémon Go is teaming up with Starbucks to turn 7,800 Starbucks stores in the US into PokéStops and Gyms. Starbucks has also crafted a special Pokémon Go Frappuccino for the occasion, which consists of a Vanilla Bean Frappuccino with raspberry syrup, freeze-dried whole blueberries, and a whipped cream topping.
This is a big deal for Pokémon Go players, even those that don’t drink Starbucks. This partnership means that there will be 7,800 more PokéStops and Gyms in the world, giving players more chances to pick up items and claim Gyms for their team.
The Pokémon Go PokéStops and Gyms will begin hitting Starbucks stores today, December 8, at 11:00 am PT/2:00 pm ET.
