LeEco is looking to make a big splash in the US market, and as part of that effort, the company has announced two big new moves.
Starting December 1, LeEco will begin selling its smartphones and TVs at several major retailers. Those include Best Buy (both online and in stores), Target.com, and Amazon. LeEco says that it’s also opening its LeMall.com store for 24/7 sales following recent flash sales.
LeEco has offered flash sales of its hardware ever since the phones and TVs launched in the US earlier this month, but partnering with established retailers is a smart move for the company. Many folks in the US haven’t heard of LeEco, and so getting its products into Best Buy, Target, and Amazon really ups LeEco’s visibility and improves the odds that a consumer will stumble upon the Le Pro3 or Le S3 and potentially buy one.
LeEco is also offering free subscriptions to AT&T’s new DirecTV Now streaming service. If you buy a qualifying LeEco device between November 29 and January 5, you’ll get free DirecTV Now service. Here’s how this offer breaks down:
