Samsung just unleashed a new Blue Coral version of the Galaxy S7 edge, but it looks like that may not be the only new color that Samsung is cooking up for its GS7 edge.
Several photos that show a Glossy Black Galaxy S7 edge have made their way online. Posted to Weibo by a Samsung official, the images show a Glossy Black Galaxy S7 edge next to a Black Onyx Galaxy S7 edge, the latter of which has been available ever since the GS7 edge originally launched back in March.
Compared to the Black Onyx Galaxy S7 edge, this new Glossy Black model has a darker metal frame around its outer edges. The Glossy Black is also said to have glossier finish, which wouldn’t be a surprise given its name.
The Glossy Black Galaxy S7 edge would compete with Apple’s Jet Black iPhone 7, which has gotten a lot of praise for its looks. This Glossy Black GS7 edge looks pretty sharp itself, and I’d bet that a lot of folks will be drawn to its blacked out look.
It’s unknown when or where the Glossy Black Galaxy S7 edge will launch, but a recent report suggested that the device could begin rolling out in December.
