Alcatel today unleashed four new affordable Android phones, and they’re available from Amazon and Best Buy for prices that range between $79.99 and $169.99. Here’s how their specs break down:
- Alcatel Pixi 4 (5): Runs Android 6.0 on a 5-inch 854x480 display, and has 5-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras. Inside the Pixi 4 (5) is a quad-core MediaTek processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and a microSD slot for adding more storage. There’s also a 2,000mAh battery. This Pixi includes LTE bands 4, 5, 6, 12, and 17 and is compatible with GSM carriers.
- Alcatel Pop 4 Plus: The Pop 4 Plus runs Android 6.0 on a 5.5-inch 1280x720 screen and features 8-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras. Other specs include a quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a microSD slot, dual SIM slots, and a 2,500mAh battery. Includes LTE bands 2, 4, 5, 7, 12, and 17 and is compatible with GSM carriers.
- Alcatel Pixi 4 (6): This beefier Pixi has a 6-inch 1280x720 display, 8-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras, and 16GB of storage with a microSD slot for adding more. There’s also a quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor, 2GB of RAM, 2,580mAh battery, and Android 6.0. Included are LTE bands 2, 4, 5, 7, 12, and 17 and support for GSM carriers.
- Alcatel Pop 4S: The most high-end of the new Alcatel phones features a 5.5-inch 1920x1080 display, 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras, 64GB of storage, and a microSD slot. Also included is an octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, fingerprint reader, and 2,960mAh battery. The Pop 4S runs Android 6.0, includes LTE bands 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 17, 27, and 28, and is compatible with GSM carriers.
All four Alcatel phones are now available from Amazon and Best Buy. Amazon is asking $79.99 for the Pixi 4 (5), $119.99 for the Pop 4 Plus, $119.99 for the Pixi 4 (6), and $169.99 for the Pop 4S.
