Google already offers three versions of its Chrome browser for Android — Stable, Beta, and Dev — which you can choose from based on your desire to try new features and your willingness to endure bugs. Now there’s another version of Chrome for those that like to live life on the edge.

Google’s Chrome Canary browser is now available on Android. The name is actually “Chrome Canary (Unstable)”, which tells you how experimental the Canary browser is. Google warns that these releases of Chrome have not been tested, so it may be unstable or fail to run at times.

Google also says that Chrome Canary is updated frequently, with up to seven releases coming every week. These updates consume a lot of data, so you’ll want to keep an eye on your data usage if you’re running Canary and updating over cellular.

Chrome Canary has long been available for desktop users, and so it’s nice to see the browser make its way to Android, too. This browser definitely isn’t for everyone, though. Because it’s so bleeding edge, only developers and advanced users that are willing to put up with bugs in exchange for getting to try new features before everyone else.
