Another week, another iOS 10.1 beta release.
Apple today unleashed iOS 10.1 beta 3 to its registered developers. The update is available over the air by going into Settings > General > Software Update, or through Apple’s Developer Center website.
Because the iOS 10.1 beta 3 release is just now rolling out, it’s unclear exactly what tweaks might be included. It’s likely focused on ironing out bugs and improving performance ahead of the public iOS 10.1 release. When iOS 10.1 does roll out to the public — Apple hasn’t said when that’ll happen — it’ll include the Portrait Mode feature for the iPhone 7 Plus that blurs the background of an image to give it a bokeh effect.
iOS 10.1 beta 3 isn’t yet available to public testers in the Apple Beta Software Program. If this release is anything like the past two beta updates, though, public testers should get iOS 10.1 beta 3 in the coming days.
