One day after developers began diving into iOS 10.1 beta 2, it’s time for public testers to do the same.
Apple today released iOS 10.1 Public Beta 2 to testers in the Apple Beta Software Program. If you’re a member, you can download this update over the air by going to Settings > General > Software Update on the iOS device that you’ve enrolled in the program.
As for what’s included, this update is likely similar to the one that was released to developers yesterday. That update added a scroll bar to the Messages App Drawer and removed the dots to represent each app. It also removed the ability to drag and drop stickers in Split View mode on an iPad.
Apple hasn’t said when iOS 10.1 will be released to the public. Given Apple’s history with beta releases, though, we’ll likely see one or two more beta updates released before iOS 10.1 is made available to all users.
