Mark your calendars, Apple fans, because we now know the date on which we’ll meet the iPhone 7.
Apple is holding an event on Wednesday, Sept. 7, starting at 10:00 am PT. The event will be held at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco.
As usual, Apple doesn’t offer any information as to what it’ll announce at the event. The past several iPhone models have all debuted in early September, though, so it’s likely that we’ll meet the iPhone 7 (or whatever its official name is) at this event. We could see an Apple Watch 2, as well.
Rumors have suggested that the iPhone 7 will look largely similar to the iPhone 6s. The few tweaks that are expected to be included are fewer antenna lines on the back, the removal of the 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom of the phone, and possibly a dual lens rear camera setup for the larger Plus model.
