One month after launching a form so that all users to request verification, Twitter is now giving all of its users another major feature.
Twitter is now rolling out its Quality Filter to everyone. With it enabled, you won’t see tweets with “lower-quality content,” like duplicate tweets, tweets from bots, and more. Twitter uses factors like an account origin and behavior to determine which tweets to filter.
To enable the Quality Filter, go to the Notifications section of your Twitter app, hit the Settings button in the upper corner, and toggle the Quality Filter.

Quality Filter has actually been on Twitter for a while now, but the only way to access it was to get your account verified. Not everyone can get verified, though, so it’s good to see Twitter finally making its Quality Filter available to everyone. Not only can it filter out duplicates or tweets sent by bots, but it can also help reduce the harassment that some users get.
The other new feature being rolled out by Twitter is “Only people you follow.” This filter will limit the notifications that you get, only showing you alerts from people that you follow.
