LG X power bringing its 4,100mAh battery to Cricket on August 26

UPDATE: Cricket has announced updated pricing for the LG X power, saying that the phone will be $99 for the first two weeks of availability. After that time, the X power will be its normal $159.99 price.

LG’s X series of Android phones each have one feature that makes them stand out from the other members of the relatively new family. For example, the X power has a big battery and the X mach supports fast data speeds. And for the first time, one of the X devices is bringing its special feature to the U.S.

The LG X power will launch at Cricket on August 26 for $159.99 plus tax. If you’d like to get it for even less, Cricket will knock that price down to $129.99 for customers that port their number to Cricket from another carrier.

As I mentioned before, the X power’s defining characteristic is its battery, which comes in at a 4,100mAh. The X power also supports Quick Charge 2.0 so that you can refill that big battery in a hurry.

Other features of the LG X power include a quad-core Snapdragon processor, 8-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front cameras, 16GB of storage, a microSD slot for adding more storage, and 1.5GB of RAM. The X power runs Android 6.0 beneath LG’s custom user interface on a 5.3-inch 1280x720 display.
