Looking for a place to travel this summer? If you’re a T-Mobile customer, Europe just became a good choice.
T-Mobile’s Summer Unleashed promo will give all postpaid Simple Choice customers unlimited 4G LTE data across Europe, save for the tiny (180 sq. mile) principality of Andorra, for whatever reason. The free 4G LTE data will be flowing from July 1 to August 31, so T-Mo customers will have two months to enjoy the service.
As usual, there are a couple of caveats to note, though. First, tethering isn’t included, so you can’t use Summer Unleashed to keep your laptop online while in Europe. Second, T-Mobile says that it can restrict or terminate service if you’re misusing it.
T-Mobile today also expanded Simple Global, its roaming feature that offers unlimited 128Kbps data, testing, and 20 cent-per-minute calling. Starting July 1, Simple Global will include Belize.
Finally, T-Mobile is giving a present to all of the non-T-Mo folks out there. This weekend, from July 24 through July 26, everyone can get one hour of free Gogo in-flight Wi-Fi service on their smartphones. This promo is good on any domestic flight with Gogo service, and yes, it includes AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon as well as folks on other carriers.
