This has been a good month for Nexus smartphone sales. After both the Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X got some solid discounts, another 5X deal has emerged.
B&H Photo Video is now selling the 16GB Nexus 5X for $229.95, which is more than $100 off of the $349.00 price that the 16GB 5X carries in the Google Store. Both the Mint and White versions of the Nexus 5X are eligible for this discount, but no matter which you choose, you’ll also receive a two-pack of Xuma screen protectors and free standard shipping.
The Nexus 5X is a solid successor to 2014’s Nexus 5, offering specs like a 12.3-megapixel camera, hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, and a fingerprint reader in a package with a smallish 5.2-inch 1920x1080 display. Plus, because it’s a Nexus, the 5X will be one of the first devices to be updated to Android N when it’s released later this year. The 16GB of storage on this model may be a bit small, but you could use the cloud and streaming services to help you live with that scant amount of storage.
B&H’s sale will only be good today, June 17, so you’ve got less than eight hours left to decide if you're going to buy. If you'd like some help deciding, you can watch our Nexus 5X review right here.
