Bad news, Android Wear fans: It turns out that the Moto 360 isn’t the only smartwatch that won’t be getting Android Wear 2.0.
LG says that the original G Watch won’t be updated to Android Wear 2.0. The official LG USA Mobile account on Twitter recently confirmed that news, responding to a question about whether or not the LG G Watch would receive the big Android Wear update.
@konrad_it Sorry it's not on our current software update list and it's been discontinues. ^JK

The LG G Watch was one of the first Android Wear smartwatches, launching alongside the Samsung Gear Live in June 2014. Just like the original Moto 360, it’s starting to get a bit long in the tooth, and so it’s not terribly surprising to learn that the LG G Watch won’t be updated to Android N. The LG G Watch has enjoyed two years of updates so far, though, and folks rocking the G Watch on their wrist will continue to have a functional smartwatch even after Android Wear 2.0 rolls out to other devices.
Are any of you currently using an LG G Watch?
