Samsung has been running a steady stream of Samsung Pay promos in recent months, and today another deal has kicked off.
A new Samsung Pay promotion will give new users a free $20 gift card for using Samsung Pay for the first time. To take advantage of the deal, you must load a qualifying credit or debit card into the Samsung Pay app and make your first purchase with Samsung Pay any time between May 20 and June 6. Samsung says that purchases made with private label card or a Bank of America Visa debut card added before March 31 aren’t eligible for the deal.
If you’ve got a card that does qualify, you should see a pop-up notification asking you to agree to the Terms and Conditions of this promo after you make your first Samsung Pay purchase. Once you agree, you’ll get to choose which retailer you’d like to get a $20 gift card to. The choices will include Toys R’Us, Nike, California Pizza Kitchen, Banana Republic, and Regal Entertainment.
This deal is open to owners of the Galaxy S6, S6 edge, S6 edge+, S6 active, Note 5, S7, and S7 edge. If you’ve got one of Samsung’s Galaxy flagships and haven’t yet tried Samsung Pay, now seems like a good time to give it a try since you’ll get a $20 gift card for making any purchase.
